We are seeking a dynamic Account Director who has a demonstrable track record of the development and delivery of the ongoing customer acquisition, retention and growth strategy for a multi-site company.
This role will cover the North territory and when not visiting clients, you will be based from the closest Service Centre to home for your convenience.
Operating in a dynamic and quickly evolving industry, we need someone with proven experience in account management or sales leadership, who has an in-depth knowledge of winning new business both from existing customers and new logos and you will be a leader who puts the customer at the forefront of their daily working activities.
Our customers look for reliability and accountability in their management team. You will need to lead your direct and indirect reports to deliver a consistently high standard of service from regular business reviews to managing new sales pipelines, tender & retender submissions, price increases, development projects and contract negotiations.
You will need to be a strong people manager as you will be directly responsible for managing our Territory and Key Account Management teams.
You will be accountable for the successful delivery of targets within your entire geographical area and achieving excellent results. The right candidate will enjoy working under pressure and be able to prioritise their workload. Proficient IT skills are expected and will include solid experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office products.
You must have worked in a national role or had responsibility for multiple sites in your working history. In addition, at least 5 years tenure in a B2B senior account management or sales-related role is essential. Experience of working with growing, dynamic and fast paced clients and organisations would be advantageous.
